May is such a fantastic month to hit up the French Riviera, as we mentioned here. The 2017 Cannes Film Festival starts on the 17th and ends on the 28th, and this year’s Formula 1 Grand Prix De Monaco 2017 runs from Thursday May 25th through Sunday May 28th. (You can buy tickets here). The notoriety and individuals whom attended the film festival usually stick around for the Monaco Grand Prix like Lewis Hamilton, who will also make a special appearance at the spectacular star studded 2017 AmFar Gala on the 25th. So whether there for business, pleasure, or both, what shall you do in between? We got a few ideas on where to stay and play in between.

  1. Relax at the Hôtel du Cap-EdenRoc in Antibes (close to Cannes). Hit up the famous pool (known to grace covers of numerous coffee table books), spa, and restaurants.

2. Hit Up Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo

This exceptional place popped up in 2010 on the former site of Monte-Carlo’s old Cabaret, a venue that once stood in the heart of the Monte-Carlo Casino  in the early 20th century.

The Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo boasts epic, sweeping spaces, with the ceiling raised seven meters high and a harmonious combination of oak paneling and sculptures, pilasters, molding, stucco and gilding. Fascinating décor and extraordinary dimensions to match the prestige of its locations and its host, a giant meditating Buddha straight from Asia, and the Buddha-Bar’s central point. The bar’s guardian watches over guests, infused with a sense of deep serenity.

3. Visit and Stay at the  Château de la Messardière

Château de la Messardière is a 5-star palace located in Saint‑Tropez in the Var region, spanning both Provence and the French Riviera. Talk about hitting up their amazing Spa, gourmet restaurant and poolside restaurant, bars, an art gallery and magnificent 25-acre grounds (an official French Bird Protection League / Birdlife International ornithological reserve).

4. Last but not least: Explore the gardens and Spa it up at the The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat

One of the highlights when landing in Nice is seeing The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat from the sky. A Four Seasons Hotel, is only 25 minutes from Monaco, 30 minutes from Nice and 50 minutes from Cannes. The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, is a famous five star luxury resort and Four Seasons Hotel, situated in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in the French Riviera. The hotel obtained the “Palace de France” distinction, granted by the French government for its excellence in service in 2011. The highest ranking of all the many “palaces” that sprang up all over the French Riviera, the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat overlooks the sea from the furthermost tip of the peninsula from which it takes its name.
