Soho House opened its doors in 1995, and since has opened numerous locations. It is now one of the most renowned social clubs extending from New York City to Mumbai. The Soho House’s mission is to simply “create a comfortable home from home for our members”. The four types of memberships include Local House, Every House, Under 27 Local House, and Under 27 Every House. Amenities in this ultra-exclusive club include five-star restaurants, cinemas, beauty and grooming parlors, office spaces, and private services. All applications can be submitted through the website. If considered, membership requires $2000 annual fee and acceptance by two existing members.

A branch of Soho House, this house includes the most Soho House amenities plus the finest artwork, roof garden, and vintage library. Given that is under Soho and Co, Electric House requires the same application process.

 

ROPPONGI HILLS CLUB

Sitting tall atop of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, this club provides its guests with the most spectacular view of Tokyo as well as seven restaurants, two bars, and some of the most luxurious event spots. Members receive full access to events where they can “meet with global leaders in various fields in a cultural environment that stimulates both one’s intellect and one’s sensibilities”. After the screening process, members are required to pay a $11,697 registration fee plus $1,755 annually.

Just when you though Equinox couldn’t get anymore high end, this $26,000 membership club is unlike any other. Privacy is a priority at this gym, as it only holds 50 members at the New York location. Members also have access to Equinox’s Fit3D body-scan technology that theory observers the body’s anatomy. This gym focuses less on having a stronger physic but a more fulfilled quality of life. Prospective members must be selected by the company, and there are no applications available to the public.

One of the most elegant clubs in the world, the Birley Club styles loyal to its heritage since 1963. Guest have included Anna Wintour, Diana Ross, and Mick Jagger. This club is located at in Annabel’s in London’s Berkley Square features runway shows, parties, and some of the most exclusive events in London. A membership application can be requested via email or phone.

Formally known as the Palladium, this credit card account is exclusive to JP Morgan Private Client, which requires $10 million in investable assets for an application to even be considered. This makes the annual $450 Reserve Card fee seem like nothing. The card holder can also receive 100,000 unlimited rewards.

Speaking of J.P. Morgan, one of the members of this 1871 established Upper East Side club, member have also included David Rockefeller, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Alexander Cartwright, and many other notable figures. The Knickerbocker still holds true as one of the most secretive clubs in the United States.
