10 Trends You’re Going to FALL In Love With

written by Global Glam August 9, 2016

With every each and ongoing season there is always a joy as to what fashion trends will hold for the new season approaching. This time, it’s no different.

While some of the trends this Fall will be no surprise to many such as velvet, fur, and fringe; there are still some new trends coming to be excited about. But like mankind always says, as history repeats itself, fashion is also cyclical. Don’t be surprised if you see some 90’s inspired trends because one thing for sure, the 90’s are back this Fall.

1. Ruffle Up

This season we are letting our sleeves do all the talking. Expect to see not only ruffles, but extra long sleeve tops, bell sleeves, off the shoulders, and even one shoulder tops. Guess you can say that this is the season of the tops!

From khaki to caramel to even dark brown, Tan will be one of the biggest colors this season.

4. Navy Inspired, All about the Boat Life

Without a doubt, Navy-inspired clothing will be huge this fall. From the coats to the pants, to even the anchor printed tops; we’re all about the boat life.

5. 90’s Baby

Just think about all the comfort and warmth this season will bring thanks to designers bringing back 90’s inspired sweatshirts. Now no one can complain you wear too many sweatshirts, it’s fashion.

6. Detective Vibes

There is something about trench coats that give off chic but classy look to any outfit. Trench coats will be a must this season from different textures to even dusty pink and yellow trench coats. We’re giving our regular coats a twist this time.

8. Patches

Taking a break from the denim overload, this season we are keeping things simple with the denim- but not too simple. While we are not wearing denim on denim, we are still getting creative this fall with patches on denim. Patches are fun and an easy way to spice up the day to day jean wear.

9. All Plaid

It wouldn’t be Fall without plaid. Well the new trend upon us will help keep the tradition alive just a little different. While we still may wear plaid shirts, we now have a new choice, plaid overcoats. And they sure are cute, but you can already see that yourself.

10. Making a Statement

While chokers are an accessory that isn’t exactly new to the game, designers are revamping the chokers we know to an actual statement piece for any outfit. Choker style pieces for everyone!
