We’ve all seen the movie, and it’s given us an idea of the roaring 20’s. Women and men were dressed to the nines because it was about a new and ‘independent’ era- especially for women coming into their own. If I would describe one word to depict the theme of this era, it would be decadence, because of the lavish parties, the jazz age, the limitless champagne, and especially the clothes. For women it would be the beautiful embellished slinky dresses, the feathers in the hair, the jewelry, the fringe, and of course the staple red lips. For men it would be those masculine vests, the fedora hats, the bow ties, and suspenders; it’s just putting things together in the right way.
