I think any book lover can agree that there is something special about a dusty old book sitting on a shelf. If you appreciate books I’m willing to bet you also understand the certain romance that comes from the smell of a book, the soft rustling of turning the page in your next suspense novel and the sweet conclusion that comes from closing the final chapter, knowing you’ve been touched on another level by the characters you met while you escaped reality.

EHarmony recently did a study showing that certain books make you more attractive to the opposite sex and we wanted to know more. So after doing a little digging, we found that these books are a sure fire way to get the attention of the males (or females) in the room. Women agreed that seeing a man read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo made them 36 percent more likely to click on their profile or message them and that seeing a man reading a psychological thriller made them more likely to communicate. Next was George Orwell’s 1984 at 26 percent, followed by World War II at 16 percent.
