It’s often a relief to bring in even a little extra money a month, but what if we told you that you could bring in an extra $2000-$5000 in revenue a month? It probably sounds too good to be true, but we have some tried and true methods to become more financially savvy and allow you to save up even more money each year.

1. Owning Multiple Companies and Real Estate

Owning companies and renting out your real estate takes work and energy, but having residual income from profits and rent can be a great stream of additional income. Real estate investing, flipping, and owning can also be very joyous and rewarding.

2. Writing Books

What better way to create revenue than by doing something you love, like writing a book. There are many book publishers that will take a chance on a new writer and publish the manuscript. Don’t give up, it will be worth it.

3. Consulting Gigs- corporate and personal

You know a lot about a product, whether it is copy editing, retail consulting, etc, and you want to share that knowledge. Many firms will pay you to speak at a conference and share what you know with a growing audience. Find a niche and share it with the world.

Hosting a seminar can be another great way to share your knowledge. Maybe your good with SEO or with Graphic Design and want to teach others. This has been an option for the last 10-15 years and is an oldie but goodie. Sell your items that are cluttering your home and you no longer need. Many individuals can form a business through these sites. One option is to sell t shirt transfers on both sites to make a little extra money. People are always looking for that perfect outfit for their next night out or a transfer for the concert they’ve been excited to go to. Make someone’s day and give your old items a new life by selling them on Ebay or Etsy.

Backstage is one of the most referred to magazines for a casting call. Be an extra in a film or a dancer in a new music video. Either way, Global Glam has you covered with options. 10. Freelance Writing

This is always a good option for anyone with a flair for the written word. Many magazines will accept contributions via articles if they are written well enough. You can find jobs doing this by pitching to a job board ad, or even create your own website and share it, have others share it to get your work out in the open. The sky is the limit to pursue freelance writing.

Graphic designing is a learned skill using InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and many more platforms. The good news is it isn’t hard to learn to be a graphic designer, there are YouTube tutorials galore and if you have the drive to pursue it, there are many options to teach yourself. This will also provide you with options to pass the time during the day. It can be a fun and educational experience if you try it.

Another good way to make a living off a hobby is by turning your photography into profit. Do you already have a passion for photography? If the answer is yes, this option might be for you. 13. Tutoring and Teaching

Tutoring can be a rewarding experience for both you and the student. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and take something your good at to help benefit someone else. This is a gig that can earn you the extra money per month you’re looking to make.

If you have a car and live near a city this could be the perfect option for you. Driving for Any of the above car share rides can make you an extra $2000 or more per month, depending on how often you want to drive. The best part about it is you create your own schedule. There are flexible hours for those of you who work another job or are just looking to make a little extra money in your spare time.

15. Airbnb

Rent out your apartment or home using Airbnb if you will be away for any period of time. If you have a summer home or an extra apartment you can use that to rent it out consistently and make extra money through the profit gained. This is a good way to have a second job without creating much effort.

Whatever you choose to do, there are several options to create revenue streams. Whether it is tutoring, freelance writing, buying and renting out a home, the choices are endless.
