Here are some quick (and divine!) ideas and recipes to make your Valentine’s Day a little  bit more more exceptional:

Spicy, Sweet, Winter Salad

Winter Salad by food goddess Padma Lakshmi: A great mix of hot and cold! Slice up some Serrano chilies, fresh mint, apple slices, and kale for this delicious course. Add in the pomegranate seeds for some red and juiciness.

3-fruit Butter with Croissants

Whip up some raspberry butter from lifestyle coach Moll Anderson. Beat the butter in a small bowl until creamy. Add the berries (You can use a handful of strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries for additional flavors) and mix in. Boom! Simple. Drizzle with honey if you please.

Tomato and Ricotta Brioche

Put some tomatoes in the oven for about 10 minutes drizzled with olive oil. In a bowl, mix ricotta, olive oil, garlic, herbs, 1 tsp of salt and ground pepper and mix well. Put ricotta spread on sliced brioche bread, then add the juicy and flavored tomatoes, with a sprinkle of honey, VOILA!

Fashion Guru Zac Posen loves home grown fruits and vegetables. Here he just presented three varieties of grapes (green, red, and purple), and displayed them on a beautiful plate.

Chocolate Mousse Strawberries

Melt chocolate 10- 12 oz bittersweet baking chocolate over simmering water. Pour melted chocolate into 1 pint heavy whipped cream; fold chocolate into cream. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Insert mousse into a frosting/icing bag, slice up strawberries in fours without cutting through end. Spread them with your fingers, and add the mousse religiously.

What you do with the left over mousse, is your decision.
