The LOUIS XIII x LaQuan Smith Collection campaign, A Drop in Time, was created alongside artistic direction from famed fashion photographer Greg Swales and artistic vision of fashion and styling through the eyes of Carine Roitfeld, featuring talent Jasmine Tookes and LaQuan Smith, within The Nines, New York City.
Paying homage to the glamour of social life in New York City, which has inspired many of LaQuan’s pieces, A Drop in Time was inspired by the tailoring of a modern jazz performance – seaming the scenes of rehearsal, backstage, and spotlight, to embroider the quintessence of a live celebration through the audience’s eyes.
