You may not have heard of El Septimo before unless you are a cigar connoisseur but it is one of the world’s renowned luxury cigar brands. Founded in France in 2005, the company subsequently relocated to Geneva, Switzerland. The brand began to expand into the US in 2020. Now, El Septimo has announced the grand opening of its first lounge in the United States, located in Los Angeles, CA. Similar lounges have already successfully been established throughout Europe and the Middle East. The cigars are hand-rolled with 100% long filler tobacco using the traditional Entubar Method and undergoing strict quality control. Oscuro wrappers are grown in a high-altitude proprietary process (at 6,500 ft altitude in Costa Rica), giving cigars a silky texture with a rich, deep shade and flavorsome leaf.

The 8,000 sq ft luxury Cigar Bar & Lounge will only offer El Septimo Cigars, showcasing the world’s largest portfolio of El Septimo Cigars while including some of the brand’s most limited and exclusive products. It was personally designed by CEO Zaya Younan. The space offers an environment with plush furniture and amenities – you will find traditional leather chairs and sofas, antique carpets, sculptures and artworks. It is built with state-of-the-art air purification and humidification systems, while offering the world’s largest glass, walk-in humidor that can hold up to 1,000,000 cigars.

El Septimo will soon open its waitlist for annual membership applications. Applications will be reviewed quarterly and accepted upon a maximum membership capacity. According to CEO Zaya Younan “We announced that we will open 30 retail stores in the United States within the next three years. This is the beginning of one of the world’s largest expansions in the cigar industry. There is a huge demand for our product from customers worldwide, and we want to be around the corner every time they want to treat themselves to the best cigars in the market.”
