Welcome to the Dior Hotel. Luxury has a signature—and apparently, so does the invoice.

Just kidding.

Well… sort of.

Because on this particular day, I wasn’t simply checking into a hotel. I was being handed the keys to one of the most exclusive addresses in the world: La Suite Dior, hidden atop the legendary 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris.

If you’ve never heard of it, don’t worry—that’s kind of the point.

La Suite Dior isn’t marketed. It isn’t promoted through influencer campaigns. You won’t find celebrities posting room tours on Instagram. Access is discreet, highly curated, and reserved for a very select clientele. With rates beginning around €25,000 per night, this isn’t luxury hospitality. It’s Dior’s private world. La Suite Dior is not simply a suite that can be reserved with your black card. Due to the highly private and curated nature of the experience, availability remains extremely limited and each reservation is reviewed individually. Access is granted on a case-by-case basis, and certain requirements needing to be met before a reservation is even considered, making the experience as exclusive as the House itself.

And for one unforgettable evening, I was invited inside.

Ultimate Privileges: An Entire Maison at Your Disposal

Booking La Suite Dior isn’t simply reserving a room.

It’s receiving the keys to the entirety of 30 Avenue Montaigne—the historic birthplace of the House of Dior, where Christian Dior presented his revolutionary “New Look” collection in 1947 and forever changed fashion history.

Guests gain access to experiences that money alone often cannot buy.

Imagine hosting an intimate cocktail reception in the historic salons where couture clients once gathered. Enjoying a private dinner in Monsieur Dior’s original salon. Touring the High Jewelry ateliers where extraordinary creations are handcrafted. Or having the entire Dior boutique remain open after hours exclusively for you.

For those seeking even deeper immersion, Dior’s concierge can arrange private visits to Château La Colle Noire, Christian Dior’s beloved estate in Provence, or the Musée Christian Dior in Granville, Normandy—the designer’s childhood home overlooking the sea.

At La Suite Dior, every experience feels less like a hotel stay and more like membership into one of the world’s most powerful luxury maisons.

The Arrival

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by several members of the Dior team, including the director of the flagship, before being introduced to our host, Clément, who escorted us via a private elevator directly to the fourth floor. Luggage arrived beforehand.

The doors opened.

And there it was.

La Suite Dior.

Elegant, serene, and meticulously designed, the suite feels like stepping inside a private Parisian residence imagined by Christian Dior himself. Every detail references the House’s history—from the iconic cannage motifs to carefully curated art pieces and bespoke furnishings.

But what immediately caught my attention wasn’t the décor.

It was the mountain of Dior shopping bags waiting on the table.

Casually.

As though receiving an entire table of Dior gifts was perfectly normal.

Champagne was poured. Tea was served. A formal tour of the suite followed. Then reality began to feel increasingly optional.

A Bathroom Carved From White Onyx

Luxury hotels often claim to have extraordinary bathrooms.

La Suite Dior actually delivers.

The bathroom is entirely clad in luminous white onyx, glowing softly under the light. It feels less like a bathroom and more like a private spa hidden inside a jewelry box. The best part was the smartly placed cosmetics fridge inside the onyx closet that could be stocked with your favourite products

The suite itself spans over 1,000 square feet and features a spectacular terrace overlooking Paris, offering views of the City of Light.

It’s the kind of space that quietly reminds you you’re somewhere very special.

Behind the Scenes of Haute Couture

Not long after settling in, another member of the Dior team arrived to escort us somewhere few people ever see.

The couture ateliers.

This is where Dior’s most extraordinary creations come to life, crafted entirely by hand by artisans whose skills have often been perfected over decades.

One gown we were shown required nearly 1200 hours of work.

Twelve hundred.

No photographs were permitted, and honestly, that made the experience even more special. Some moments deserve to remain private.

While we toured the ateliers, our butlers quietly unpacked our luggage and organized everything in the suite.

The level of service was extraordinary—not intrusive, simply seamless.

Dinner in Monsieur Dior’s Historic Salon

As evening fell, we made our way to Le Salon Historique de Monsieur Dior.

This wasn’t just another beautiful dining room.

This was the very space where Christian Dior once presented his earliest fashion collections to clients and press. As someone who also works in media, it felt especially fitting to sit in the same room.

Today, it serves as one of the most exclusive dining venues in Paris.

Dinner was prepared under the direction of acclaimed chef Jean Imbert, whose culinary vision has become an integral part of the Dior experience.

Every detail—from the presentation to the custom Dior tableware and silver service—felt meticulously considered.

It wasn’t simply dinner. It was dining inside fashion history.

Midnight at La Galerie Dior

Most visitors to Paris plan weeks ahead to secure tickets for La Galerie Dior, which frequently sells out, even weeks prior.

I got to invite my friends, and we had the option to tour La Galerie in our new custom monogrammed Dior bathrobes, one of our welcome gifts. I however, opted for a cashmere throw, removed my heels, and put on my Dior bath slippers.

Around midnight. Completely alone.

After dinner, we were escorted through the museum after closing hours. Hundreds of visitors had long since gone home. The only people remaining inside the building were our small group and what felt like an army of Dior staff dedicated solely to our experience.

Walking through the galleries in Dior slippers, admiring iconic creations from Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, Maria Grazia Chiuri, and the House’s many creative chapters, felt surreal.

Luxury is often defined by access.

This was access at its highest level.

Shopping at Dior After Midnight

And somehow, the evening wasn’t over.

Following our private museum tour, the entire 30 Avenue Montaigne boutique reopened exclusively for us.

Department by department, specialists stood ready throughout the store.

Haute Jewelry.

Haute Couture

Ready-to-wear. Accessories.

Leather goods. Shoes.

There seemed to be a dedicated expert waiting in every corner.

At this point it was well past midnight, and I stopped asking questions.

I spent less time shopping and more time appreciating the absurdity of having one of the world’s most iconic luxury boutiques entirely to ourselves.

The Perfect Ending

We finally returned to the suite around 2:30 a.m.

The butlers had prepared a bath.

Dior candles flickered softly throughout the room.

The city below had gone quiet.

For a moment, Paris felt like it belonged exclusively to us.

The next morning began with a beautifully prepared breakfast served in the suite, followed by a professional photoshoot throughout 30 Avenue Montaigne.

The suite’s private dining room is designed to host up to eight guests, making it feel less like a hotel suite and more like a sophisticated Parisian residence. Naturally, I invited several friends to join me!

A fitting finale to an experience that felt less like a hotel stay and more like stepping inside Dior’s private universe.

The Fashion Week Secret

Here’s a detail many people don’t know.

If you time your stay correctly, La Suite Dior can potentially unlock access to one of fashion’s most coveted invitations: a Dior runway show.

And if you’re truly strategic, you’ll aim for Paris Haute Couture Week (HCFW). Because, for many attendees, gaining access to HCFW requires years of relationship-building and an annual spend of at least 6 figures. Staying at La Suite Dior places you in a uniquely privileged position within the Dior ecosystem.

The Privileges of Staying at La Suite Dior

Of course, La Suite Dior is not simply about the suite itself. The true luxury lies in the extraordinary services and privileges that accompany the stay — all thoughtfully included and designed to make guests feel less like hotel visitors and more like members of the House of Dior.

Included throughout the experience:

  • Signature La Suite Dior breakfast served daily

Perhaps the most remarkable aspect is that none of these services feel transactional. Every privilege is seamlessly woven into the experience, allowing guests to simply enjoy what may be one of the most exclusive stays in the world*.

Is It Worth €25,000 Per Night?

That’s the inevitable question.

While the room—more of a Parisian pied-à-terre than a hotel suite—comes with every luxury imaginable, including two Japanese toilets, a steam shower, a walk-in closet, and a breathtaking onyx bathroom that’s a masterpiece in its own right, you’re paying for far more than just the room.

But La Suite Dior isn’t selling a room.

It’s selling unprecedented access to one of the most influential luxury houses in history.

Private ateliers.

Couture fittings.

Custom fragrances.

After-hours shopping.

Personal butlers.

Dedicated staff of 10 on hand

Dinner where Dior once held his shows.

Historical spaces unavailable to the public.

The keys to 30 Avenue Montaigne.

Exclusive experiences that simply cannot be booked elsewhere, nor something money alone can buy.

For those fortunate enough to experience it, the value lies in entering a world that remains closed to almost everyone.

And after spending a night there, I can confidently say one thing:

I didn’t feel like I stayed in a hotel. I felt like I lived inside Dior.

Just one of the most extraordinary hospitality experiences I’ve ever had.

Thank you to the entire Dior team for an unforgettable stay at La Suite Dior.
