Dolce & Gabbana Unveils Plus Sizes in their latest new collections. Dolce and Gabbana are amping things up with their movement for diversity, as they feature women of all shapes and color for their campaigns and runway from plus size beauty Ashley Graham to petite, shorter actress, Emilia Clarke.
Now, the Italian duo are extending the size range of their collection up to size 18, or 54 IT, UK 22 respectively. They quote, “Beauty isn’t a size, it’s a state of mind, and attitude and courage make a woman beautiful,” said Dolce & Gabbana, whose intention is to “pay tribute to women, their morphology and all types of beauty.” Dolce Gabbana Plus Sizes are included in it’s signature collections of fiery prints as well as their new collections.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Duo Dolce & Gabbana cater to the global audience, aside from their Dolce Gabbana Plus Sizes. They had also launched its first line of hijabs and abayas back in 2016, introducing it in Stefano’s Instagram, captioning photos of the collection, “Dolce & Gabbana the Abaya collection ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #dgabaya.” Clients love these campaigns as “These ads are not sexualized” says one, and “caters brilliantly to the modest audience”, says another.
Whether it’s sheer business and marketing genius coupled with global strategy or the love for women of all sizes and walks of life, or all of the above, we are approve and are excited to see what is next in store. Now, our personal opinion- may we please see some dresses below $3000? 🙂
