Aston Martin is looking to the past to create something distinctly modern. In collaboration with Aston Martin Newport Beach, the marque’s bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin, has unveiled an exclusive collection of five Heritage Edition sports cars inspired by some of the brand’s most memorable colors from the 1960s and 1970s. Announced on August 3, 2026, the collection is available exclusively through Aston Martin Newport Beach.
Each one-of-one commission combines a historic Aston Martin exterior color, carefully remastered using modern paint technology, with bespoke interior details created by Q by Aston Martin. The result is a collection that connects the visual character of Aston Martin’s heritage with the performance and technology of its current sports cars.
The five cars each have their own distinctive identity. A DB12 Volante is finished in Pale Primrose, while the DB12 coupe wears Pacific Blue, a shade originally offered on the DB4 and later associated with the DB5 and DB6. The Vanquish coupe features Tudor Green, a metallic color closely linked to Aston Martin models of the 1970s. Completing the collection are a Vantage coupe in Winchester Blue and a Vantage Roadster in Mink Silver, inspired by shades used on DB6 models during the 1960s.
Inside, the Heritage Edition models receive specially developed Q details, including perforated fluted seats, Heritage Aston Martin logo embroidery, and exclusive Heritage Edition sill plaques. The DB12 and Vanquish models also feature Dark Walnut Open Pore Wood Inlays, adding another layer of traditional craftsmanship to the contemporary designs.
The collection demonstrates the possibilities of Q by Aston Martin, which works with clients to transform individual ideas into highly personalized automotive commissions. By reviving historic colors and pairing them with today’s performance cars, the Heritage Edition collection offers a compelling interpretation of Aston Martin’s past, present, and future.
