NFT.NYC – The Crypto Community Takes Over New York

From June 20th to June 23rd, NFT.NYC took place and was in its 4th edition. NFT.NYC is the world’s largest NFT conference in the world. The 4-day conference was jam-packed with panels, presentation, networking events and some of the best parties in town. This year, more than 1,500 speakers and over 15,000 attendees were visiting NYC and attending the conference. We have extensively written about how more and more brands, like Philipp Plein, are adopting cryptocurrencies, the metaverse and NFTs.

Our favorite panels this year included “Tactics to Make Your Fashion NFTs Crush It” with Chief Metaverse Officer’s CEO, Nico Fara, LVMH’s VP of Digital Innovation, Nelly Mensah and VaynerNFTs Jessica Greenwalt. Another highlight was Romain Grosjean’s take on F1 and Technology.

Among the most sought-after events this year were definitely the ApeFest which was hosted on Pier 17 by the Board Ape Yacht Club and featured a variety of artists, Sandbox hosted a party in collaboration with Playboy at Gotham Hall on Monday where Steve Aoki performed. Right on the next day Gotham Hall and Sandbox were again the highlight of the evening as world-famous Dutch DJ Tiesto excited the guests. Ripple rented out Hudson Mercantile and threw a big house party on Wednesday. Those who missed Steve Aoki on Monday could see him there including his famous cake-throwing act. The last day of NFT.NYC had two marquee events. First, Balmain invited guests and VIP customers to an exclusive event that celebrated the launch of its NFT project with artist Jeff Cole. The evening, and conference festivities, closed out with a spectacular performance by the Queen of Pop, Madonna at Terminal 5.

We learned a lot during these four days. NFTs and NFT projects are here to stay and we cannot wait to see how the industry is going to evolve over the next few years.
