Smeg x Veuve Clicquot – A Special Edition Fridge For Your Kitchen

Smeg has launched a new line of colorful fridges in partnership with Veuve Clicquot to celebrate the French Maison’s 250th anniversary. Thirteen years after the first historic collaboration between Smeg and Veuve Clicquot in 2009, the two brands are back with a new special edition partnership. The 2022 edition launches a special version of FAB28 and FAB10 fridges customized in the iconic Veuve Clicquot yellow color, a concentrate of design and innovation that encapsulates the spirit of the two brands.

The Smeg x Veuve Clicquot collaboration also includes another special product: ‘The Clicquot fridge’. This champagne bottle pack, inspired by Smeg’s iconic refrigerators and produced in yellow and pink, like the yellow label and cuvée Rosé bottles, perfectly embodies Smeg’s unique and distinctive design and at the same time the creative spirit of the Maison. It is a beautiful, functional object that can keep any bottle cool for up to two hours, while at the same time being reusable as a design object after removing the special material inside.

The Smeg x Veuve Clicquot refrigerators are made in Italy and have three adjustable glass shelves, a glass crisper cover and two drawers. They also include a freezer compartment with an ice cube tray, a multiflow cooling system and automatic defrost. LED interior lights create the perfect illumination of the ingredients inside. The Fab 10 model sells for $4,000 at Williams Sonoma while the Fab 28 model will cost you $6,000.

It is not the first time, Smeg is collaborating with a global luxury brand. Kitchen appliances in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana have been selling for a long time and are considered must-have items for true D&G fans. We wouldn’t be surprised if the new Veuve Clicquot collaboration follows these footsteps and achieves similar success.
