Dior is deepening its relationship with Italy with the opening of a permanent Dior Spa at Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, in Taormina. Opening in June 2026, the new wellness destination marks Dior’s first permanent spa in Sicily, bringing the Maison’s Haute Wellness philosophy to one of the island’s most celebrated historic properties.

Set within the hotel’s lush, terraced gardens, the spa features four treatment rooms inspired by the character of Sicily and the heritage of Grand Hotel Timeo. Sicilian mosaic floors are paired with natural materials including stone, onyx, and pale woods, creating an environment that combines the hotel’s historic elegance with Dior’s contemporary aesthetic. The four spaces are named Diorazur, Diorama, Rosa dei Venti, and Isola Bella Suite.

The Isola Bella Suite offers the most private experience, with treatments for two, a dedicated beauty room for customized makeup sessions, and an infrared sauna. Across the spa, guests can choose from Dior facial and body treatments incorporating hands-on techniques with advanced technologies. Signature experiences include the Talisman of Vitality, inspired by lithotherapy and Ayurveda, as well as Kobi-Dior, Golden Aura, and Dior Powered by Hydrafacial.

Dior is also introducing its Wellness Villeggiatura, a holistic program designed with Dior Wellness Experts Bryony Deery and Rose Ferguson. The experience combines private Pilates, infrared therapy, dry brushing, guided breathwork, and functional beverages, creating a broader wellness journey inspired by the Sicilian art of living.

The location is particularly fitting for Dior. Italy was an important source of inspiration for Christian Dior, and the landscapes, colors, and artistic heritage surrounding Taormina continue that connection. Overlooking the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna, Grand Hotel Timeo provides a dramatic setting for Dior’s vision of luxury wellness.

With the new spa, Dior and Belmond transform wellness into a distinctly Sicilian experience—one that combines beauty, technology, craftsmanship, and the timeless appeal of Taormina.
