It was just 3 months ago when Max Verstappen famously overtook seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton to win the 2021 Formula 1 championship but the engines are roaring again and the 2022 season is about to start. With new rules and regulations in place, the cars will look very different this year. The goal: allow for closer racing and even more overtakes and entertainment for the fans. While Formula 1 has and always will be about motorsport, the races have become events where celebrities, socialites and influencers go to see and be seen. With 22 races scheduled to take place this year, there are definitely some that you should put into your 2022 social calendar. Here they are:

What better way to start off the summer early than in the Sunshine State enjoying beaches, swimming pools, jet skis and a Formula 1 races. We except plenty of events, yacht and house parties to happen on the side. It will be a good occasion to network and mingle with your Art Basel connection. 1. Singapore (Sep 30 – Oct 02)

Often called the Monaco of Asia, the Singaporean Grand Prix is one of the most challenging and unique tracks on the calendar. A narrow but high-speed street circuit. The first race to be held at night. Singapore combines it all. After the race, it is time to enjoy the city views and nightlife at the Marina Bay Sands or the famous Raffles Singapore.

  1. Abu Dhabi (Nov 18 – Nov 20)

Since its first edition in 2009, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has become a fan favorite and is certainly a glamorous way to end the season. The best way to experience this race is either on one of the mega yachts’ trackside or at the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island hotel which is built over the racetrack and offers spectacular views from your hotel suite. As this is the last race of the season, expect plenty of afterparties in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
