The 5 World’s Most Expensive Skincare Products In The World

written by Global Glam April 11, 2022

How many women are having a skincare routine? 90%? 95%? Are you someone who thinks the more expensive a product is, the better it must be? At least you don’t need to feel guilty anymore when you go shopping and see the bill afterwards. The products below go well beyond the items you can find at your standard cosmetics store. Take a look:

      5. 111Skin, Celestial Black Diamond Cream ($585 per oz)

You guessed correctly – the cream contains actual black diamond particles to help the active ingredients penetrate the skin. According to 111Skin the cream has shown a statistically significant reduction of lines in clinical trials. It is also ideally suited for use in harsh climate conditions.

      4. Lancer, Legacy Youth Treatment ($588 per oz)

California-based skincare company Lancer has created this skin rejuvenation treatment. Saffron and next generation amino and hyaluronic acids are probably responsible for the price tag of this cream. Overall, it contains over 30 ingredients and creator Dr. Harold Lancer called it “the culmination of his life’s work.”

      3. Decorté X Baccarat, AQ Meliority Cream ($714 per oz)

On an absolute price basis, this bottle by Decorte and Baccarat would have easily won. However, since it comes with 2 x 100g (ca. 7 oz) of AQ Meliority intensive regenerating multi cream, the price on a “per oz” basis only warrants the third place. That doesn’t take anything away from this stunning product. Decorte’s Marcel Wanders and Baccarat have created a unique Baccarat glass holder that comes with its own serial number. Included in the price are 200mg of AQ Meliority Cream that is made of 30 high-performance ingredients to generate the maximum skin rejuvenating power.

      2. Cle de Peau, Synactif Cream ($804 per oz)

The standard 1.4 oz (40ml) bottle will cost you $1,125 and on a first glance it looks quite inconspicuous. Its formula is said to create the feeling of rapid and deep absorption. The ingredients? Retinol ACE, 4MSK & Vitamin C-ethyl, double hyaluronic acid and neem leaf extract. Perhaps this rather complicated list helps explain the price…

     1. La Prairie, Platinum Rare Haute Rejuvenation Cream ($932 per oz)

The name in itself sounds like luxury and royalty. This cream by La Prairie comes in a 1.7oz (50ml) bottle that will cost you a whopping $1,585. As the name suggests, the cream contains pure platinum among other ingredients. According to the brand this will “initiate a virtuous loop of rejuvenation within the skin.”
